This is such a kickass little game balancing demonstration toy.

Also: only proves that concealed carry is the only savior against gang violence and zombie outbreaks.

Ok, so does it pull up a map based on your IP? Because mine came up as the DC area and I was wondering if it was trying to show what would happen at your location.

Like, the cops suck. They're not any better than NPCs with guns. Even when I set it to max cops (8) with 100% accuracy, shambling slow zombies and 0% armed civilian populace, all the people die (it takes a loooooong while). Mainly because the cops don't DO anything but shoot at zombies within range. If they tried to get between people and zombies, or if the NPCs were at least smart enough to herd around (or behind) the guy with the badge and the gun, they'd be more useful than NPCs with a giant "P" on their heads.

As it was, my 6000 human population got whittled down to 60 stragglers, and one of the cops just walked off the map. All 7 cops were surviving and had a very generous "dead zombie" buffer zone around them. I imagine that after a very long time I'd have 7 (or how ever many decided to stay on the map?) cops, and zero humans (or maybe one if it was randomly lucky enough to stay in a cop's randomly roaming safe area).

I'd love to set cop intelligence (Defender % slider) and NPC intelligence (% likelihood they'll try and hide behind other armed civies or cops), and even an option to give cops better guns, like assault rifles.

But as it is, it's pretty fun.

Oh, also, they can't really make it just a picture of a map based on your location. There's landscape features that have collission on them (like cars) that the ppl and zombies have to walk around, not to mention the "walk under the trees/inside the buildings" while being outlined thing. But yeah, it would be cool to have that personal location thing.
